What Rekindle accesses
With your permission, Rekindle reads the contacts you choose to make available through Apple’s Contacts framework. That can include names, photos, phone numbers, email addresses and birthdays.
What stays on your device
Your relationship tiers, notes, snoozes and the history of reconnections recorded through Rekindle are stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes that local data unless you have separately exported a copy.
What Rekindle cannot see
Rekindle cannot read your phone-call history, iMessage history, WhatsApp history or the contents of your conversations. iOS does not expose that data to apps, and Rekindle does not try to work around those protections.
Opening another app
When you choose to call or message someone, Rekindle opens the relevant app using a standard system link. From that point, Apple, WhatsApp or your chosen provider handles the action under its own privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
Rekindle does not build an advertising profile, sell contact data or use your relationships to target ads. If anonymous, privacy-preserving product analytics are added in a future release, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before collection begins.
